09.12.1911 | The house will be entered in the land register for the first time. At the beginning of the 20th century, the premises were used as a colonial store (a common name for a food store in pre-war Estonia). |
20.12.1918 | The house is bought by the current hostess’s great-grandfather, Jüri Martin. |
27.11.1940 | The house will be transferred and the owner will remain in the house as caretaker. |
10.07.1948 | Family members are given two hours to pack up and leave the house. |
25.07.1994 | The unlawfully expropriated house will be returned to Jüri Martin’s two daughters and granddaughter. |
25.08.1995 | Today’s family moves into one of the flats in the grandfather’s house and the restoration of the house begins. |
